Elaine G. (Pitts) Dias, 74, of New Bedford died January 21, 2002 at home after a long illness.

She was the wife of John Dias, Jr., and daughter of the late Harold L. and Amanda (Paige) Pitts.

Mrs. Dias was born in New Bedford and had lived in New Bedford for all of her life.

She was a communicant of St. Kilian's Church.

Survivors include her husband; 2 sisters, Louise Araujo of Fairhaven and Pearl Enos of New Bedford; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was the sister of the late Roland Pitts and Harold L. Pitts, Jr.

Visiting hours Wednesday, January 23rd from 4-7 PM.

Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
