Elaine (Cormier) Gobeil, 89, of Dartmouth died February 25, 2019 peacefully at Sacred Heart Home.
She was the wife of the late John P. Gobeil.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, daughter of the late Louis and Annie (Hargraves) Cormier, she lived in Fairhaven and Dartmouth most of her life.
She enjoyed travel and watching game shows. In 2008, Elaine met Henry Sylvia of Fairhaven and they became dance partners and travel partners. They were together to the very end.
Survivors include her son, Jay Gobeil of Dartmouth; a daughter-in-law, Gloria Gobeil of Westport; 4 grandchildren, Taylor Gobeil, Courtney Medeiros, Bernie Perrotty and Melissa McLaughlin; 6 great-grandchildren, Liam Medeiros, Avery Medeiros, Calvin Perrotty, Chloe Perrotty, Nora McLaughlin and Henry McLaughlin; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Jeffrey Gobeil.
