Eleanor M. (Ghilardi) Castellina, 95, of New Bedford died October 20, 2010 peacefully at New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home.
She was the wife of the late John B. Castellina.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late John B. and Mary A. (Finni) Ghilardi, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Mrs. Castellina was formerly employed at Wallner's Bakery, Guisti's Bakery, and Woolworth's for many years until her retirement.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol A. Potter of Cranston, Rhode Island; a brother, Louis Ghilardi of East Freetown; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was the sister of the late Anita Ghilardi, Caroline Galvao and Robert Ghilardi.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 25th at 10 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
