Eleanor Mae (Wilde) Gillick, 87, of Dartmouth died Friday December 14, 2012 at home. She was the wife of George E. Gillick.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late William and Carrie A. (O'Brien) Wilde, she lived in New Bedford before moving to Dartmouth in 1966.

Mrs. Gillick had been actively involved in Republican politics in the area.

She is survived by her husband.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 2-4 PM. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
