Eleanor R. Nowell, 78, of New Bedford, died January 19, 2013 at home.
Born in Stonington, CT, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Pimental) Lima, she lived in Dartmouth for many years before moving to New Bedford.
Mrs. Nowell was formerly employed as an editor for Fox64 Television.
Survivors include four children, Wendy Nowell, Tracey Nowell, Debra Graves and Lynn Claflin; seven grandchildren, Maximus Martin, Jason Wicherski, Thomas Wicherski, Michael Snow, Patrick Claflin, Kristin Turner and Jamie Nowell; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was the grandmother of the late Scott Langevin.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 12 Noon at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
