Elizabeth M. (DeLuz) Lisbon, 83, of Tiverton, RI died Saturday November 13, 2010 at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Ermino P. Lisbon.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Candido and Mary (Lima) Luz, she lived in Mattapoisett, Newport, RI, Portland, ME, and Billerica, before moving to Tiverton in 1985.

Survivors include three children, John P. Lisbon and his wife Lori of Wareham, Mary V. Lisbon of Roxbury, and Barbara A. Lisbon of Tiverton; a brother, Manuel Luz of Fairhaven; two sisters, Dominga Pina of Fairhaven and Joanna DeLuz of Mattapoisett; four grandchildren, John Michael Lisbon, Jared Lisbon, Mariaha Lisbon, and Claudia Moreno; a great-grandson, Taejon Lisbon; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Maria Alves.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM at St. Anthony's Church, Mattapoisett. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., Route 6, Mattapoisett.
