Elizabeth C. Stuhler, 83, of New Bedford died Wednesday December 17, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in New York, NY, she lived in New Bedford for many years.

She was formerly employed as a stitcher for States Nitewear until her retirement.

Survivors include a daughter, Gail E. Stuhler of New Bedford; three sisters, Dot and Margaret, both of Martha's Vineyard, and Jeanne of Florida; and a grandson, Louis Thomas Stuhler.

Private funeral arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
