Elmer F. "Butch" Forsblom, III, 52, of New Bedford died December 24, 2003 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.

He was the husband of Rosemarie (Gonsalves) Forsblom and son of Marilyn (Pender) Silveira of Spring Hill, Fla. and the late Elmer F. Forsblom, Jr.

Mr. Forsblom was born in New Bedford and had lived in New Bedford all of his life.

He was a member of Full Gospel Christian Fellowship Church in New Bedford.

Mr. Forsblom was employed by the Acushnet Company for 25 years and had previously worked for Smith Office Supply. He currently attended Newbury College.

He enjoyed his computer and playing the organ.

Survivors include his wife; his mother; a son, Keith Forsblom of Auburn, Mass.; 3 daughters, Jessica Dutra, and her husband Jesse, Amanda Forsblom and Katie Forsblom, all of New Bedford; 2 brothers, Gary Forsblom of Spring Hill, Fla., and Carl Forsblom of Dartmouth; his twin sister, Linda deFreitas of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford,Tuesday, December 30th at 11 AM.

Visiting hours Monday, December 29th from 4-8 PM.
