Elsie H. (King) Donahue, 99, of New Bedford died Sunday July 31, 2011 at Hathaway Manor. She was the wife of the late Thomas A. Donahue.

Born on August 8, 1911 in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Mary G. (Silva) King, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

Mrs. Donahue was formerly employed as a dietary aide at St. Luke's Hospital.

Survivors include a son, Raymond Donahue; two grandchildren, Carolyn A. Cote and Christopher T. Hawes; and two great-grandchildren, Thomas Cote and Patrick Hawes-DeFrias.

She was the mother of the late Thomas A. Donahue, Jr. and Mary J. Donahue.
