Emily L. (Geiser) Arruda, 60, of New Bedford died Thursday December 22, 2011 at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Ricardo E. Arruda.

Born and raised in California, the daughter of Mary Constance (Whiteside) Geiser of Texas and the late John Geiser, she lived in New Bedford for the past ten years.

Survivors include her husband; her mother; two daughters, Constance V. Garcia and Amanda C. Garcia, both of Burbank, CA; her siblings, Patricia Joao, Candice McIntyre, Joanie Baker, and John Geiser, all of Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
