Fernand R. Campion, 73, of New Bedford died July 17, 2016 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
He was the husband of Sandra M. (Bernardo) Campion.
Born and raised in Fall River, the son of the late Rudolphe L. and Laurence A. (Mathieu) Campion, he lived in South Carolina, Dartmouth and New Bedford most of his life.
Mr. Campion was a member of the Fairhaven Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He was formerly employed by the New Bedford Housing Authority.
Mr. Campion enjoyed playing cards, mini golf and karaoke.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; 4 sons, Normand Campion, Jerry Campion, Dennis Campion and Jonathan Campion; a daughter, Kimberly Campion; a brother, Denis Campion; 3 sisters, Jacqueline Jenkens, Simone Campion and Lucille Campion; and several grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Robert Campion.

His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 30th at 2 PM in the Fairhaven Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 740 County St. New Bedford.
