Frances Jennings Durant, 84, of Dartmouth died January 19, 2006 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of the late Robert E. Durant, D.D.S.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Edward H. and Mary B. (McCarthy) Jennings, she lived in New Bedford before moving to Dartmouth 32 years ago. She summered on West Island.
Mrs. Durant was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Dartmouth.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Carolyn F. Durant of Dartmouth and Louise A. Reinhardt, and her husband Robert, of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; 3 sons, Robert J. Durant, and his wife Carol, of Prospect, CT, John W. Durant, and his wife Diane, of Dartmouth and Mark C. Durant, and his wife Regina, of New Bedford; 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Monday, January 23rd at 8 AM.
Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, Dartmouth at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Visiting hours Sunday, January 22nd from 4-7 PM.
Interment Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
