Frances T. Widelski, 88, of New Bedford died Thursday February 28, 2008 at Hathaway Manor.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Adam and Nellie (Ryniak) Widelski, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.

Miss Widelski was formerly employed as a stitcher at Cape Cod Sportswear until her retirement in 1981.

Survivors include a brother, John Widelski of Florida; two nieces, Donna Samagaio and Susan Fortin; and a nephew, John Widelski.

She was the sister of the late Stella Sullivan and Helen Widelski.

Her Funeral will be private. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
