Francisco "Frank" "Nartri" Santos, 56, of New Bedford died Sunday January 18, 2004 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Providence, the son of the late Francisco and Pauline (Viera) Santos, he lived in Providence for most of his life before moving to New Bedford 20 years ago.

Mr. Santos was formerly employed by the City of New Bedford Solid Waste Department.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Tracy Brandon of Pawtucket and Gamalah Harris of Virginia; 5 brothers, Peter Santos, John Santos, Paul Santos, Joseph Santos, and David Santos, all of Providence; a sister, Francisca Santos of Providence; 4 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday January 21, 2004 at 1 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday 12 Noon - 1 PM prior to the service.
