Frank Bures, 91, of New Bedford died March 7, 2004 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.

He was the husband of the late Stella A. (Gavlick) Bures and son of the late Adolph and Mary (Palys) Bures.

Mr. Bures was born in New Bedford and lived in New Bedford all of his life.

He was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.

Mr. Bures was formerly employed by Revere Copper and Brass for 36 years until his retirement.

He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include 3 sons, Frank Bures, Jr. of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, John Bures of Rome, NY and Richard Bures of New Bedford; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.

He was the father of the late Barbara Beldon and Constance Mary Barth and brother of the late Joseph Bures.

HIs Funeral Service will be private.
