Frank Calabresi, 91, of New Bedford passed away Wednesday June 27, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of the late Marguerite Calabresi.
Born in Queens, New York, the son of the late Frank and Gertrude (Berz) Calabresi, he lived in the New York area for most of his life before moving to New Bedford.
Frank was formerly employed as an electrical engineer until his retirement.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his sister, Viola Proeller; and nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Nita Vanasse and Remo Calabresi.
His visitation will be held on Thursday July 5, 2018 from 3-5 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, with a prayer service at 4 PM.
