Frank R. Embleton, 80, of New Bedford passed away Thursday June 6, 2024 at home after a brief illness.  He was the husband of the late Sandra Lee (Reed) Embleton.

Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Chester M. and Mary (Heath) Embleton, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.

Frank was formerly employed as a heavy equipment operator for the City of New Bedford Department of Public Works until his retirement.

He was a skilled craftsman who enjoyed constructing wooden ship models.  He also liked going out to eat at various local restaurants and shopping at Walmart and the Dollar Store.

He is survived by his daughter, Robin Harris and her husband Douglas; two granddaughters, Jerica Carreiro and Felicia Molyneux and her husband Ryan; and several nieces and nephews.

He was the sister of the late Patricia Vieira.
