Frank A. Plachowicz, 63, of New Bedford died Wednesday July 18, 2012 suddenly at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Cheryl A. (Wamboldt) Plachowicz.

Born in Cambridge, the son of Muriel (Kempton) Plachowicz and the late Frank A. Plachowicz, he was raised in Ashland and lived in the Southeastern Mass. area since 1966.

He was a member of the Christian Fellowship Center.

Survivors include his wife; his mother; two daughters, Anita Plachowicz of Dartmouth and Alice Plachowicz of Wareham; three sisters, Lorraine Plachowicz of Assonet, Heather Wells of Middleboro, and Joan Wells of North Brookfield; and a granddaughter.
