Gabrielle M. (Carvalho) Koska, 50, of New Bedford died Monday March 23, 2009.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Alice (Gagnon) Carvalho of Dartmouth and the late Americo Carvalho, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.

She enjoyed gardening, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. She was an avid animal lover.

Survivors include her mother; a daughter, Stephanie R. Couto and her husband Rui of Dartmouth; a brother, Steven Carvalho of Hawaii; and several nieces and nephews.
