Gary Jason Reis, 55, of New Bedford died suddenly on Tuesday October 27, 2015.

Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Antone J. and Hazel (Arsenault) Reis, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.

Gary was formerly employed as a commercial fisherman.

He loved motorcycles, tattoos, music, and animals, especially pitbulls. He took great pleasure in spending time with his son.

He is survived by his companion, Sheri Rapozo; three children, Nicole B. Reis, Amber S. Reis, and Damien Reis; and five grandchildren.

He was the father of the late Tammy Ashley Reis.

His visiting hours will be on Friday November 6, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
