George Robert Rebello, 73, of New Bedford passed away Monday September 20, 2021 at home.

Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late George C. Rebello and Mary Margaret (Dias) Rebello.

George was formerly employed as a production control manager at Acushnet Company Rubber Division.

Known by many as "Indian George," he enjoyed riding his 1947 Indian Chief motorcycle.

He is survived by his son, Brian Rebello; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

He was predeceased by his son Blaine Rebello.
