George S. Reiniche, 78, of New Bedford passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2024. He was the husband of Denise (Fournier) Reiniche.

Born in New Bedford, son of the late Jules and Irene (Espinola) Reiniche, he lived in the New Bedford area the majority of his life, spending the last few years in Acushnet.

George was a loving husband and father. He devoted his time and energy to what he held dearest. Whether it was attending hundreds of dance recitals or coaching little league, he never missed an opportunity to participate in his children's activities.

George was the owner of Kitchens & Baths of New Bedford, Mattapoisett, and Nantucket. He started the company in 1975 and enjoyed taking his employees to Nantucket aboard his Piper PA-34. George was proud to hold his pilots license and enjoyed flying for business as well as pleasure.

Survivors include his wife, Denise; his children, Scott R. Reiniche, Michael D. Reiniche, Stephen G. Reiniche, Bethanie Sampson, and Jacob Silva; and his grandchildren, Emma, Addison, Abigail, Derek, Maxson, Camryn, Maverick, and Chandler; and his sister, Patricia Halloran.

He is predeceased by his siblings, Jules "Bobby" Reiniche and Carolyn Doucett.

His visitation will be held Friday, November 22 from 9-10:30 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford followed by his Memorial Mass at Holy Name Church at 11 AM and burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
