George K. Walker, 54, of New Bedford died Saturday January 30, 2010 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in Boston, the son of the late Edward Jones and Rachel Walker, he lived in New Bedford.

Georgie was a graduate of Roslindale High School, Draughons Business College, Tennessee State University, and Gammon Theological Seminary.

He was an ordained minister.

Survivors include his three brothers and seven sisters and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 13th at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford.
