Gertrude F. "Trudy" (Crowe) Coucci, 87, of New Bedford died Saturday, April 13, 2024 at home surrounded by her loved ones.  She was the wife of the late Paul T. Coucci.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Michael J. and Frances B. (Thorne) Crowe, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.

She was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.

Trudy loved BINGO, cooking, traveling to Aruba, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and best friend Joan Wheelden.

She is survived by four children, Paul T. Coucci, Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Dartmouth, Guido J. Coucci of Fairhaven, Stacey A. Marcotte and her husband George of Dartmouth and Michael G. Coucci of Fairhaven; nine grandchildren, Guido Jr. and his wife Hillary, Jake and his wife Sarah, Ashley and her husband Brandon, Paul III and his wife Caitlin, Nicolette and her husband Brandon, Alexander and his wife Brooke, Christopher, Olivia, and Julia; eight great-grandchildren, Molly, Maeve, Guido III, Will, Kinsley, Paul IV, Vinny, and Harper; her brother-in-law, John Coucci and his wife Kathy; three Godchildren, Erin Sylvia, Jennifer Paine, and Matthew Crowe; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Ferguson, Catherine Sullivan, Clara Lawton, Theresa Dwyer, Margaret McDowell, and Michael Crowe, Jr.

Her Funeral will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 8 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 9 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 PM.
