Gertrude A. (Studley) Frings, 104, of New Bedford died Friday April 25, 2014 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility. She was the wife of the late Theodore Frings.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Ephraim L and Gertrude B. (Nelson) Studley, she lived in New Bedford all her life.

She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Frings was formerly employed as an office worker for Morse Shoe Company and Morse Cutting Tools.

She is survived by her close friend, Hazel Pacheco and family.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visitation will be on Monday morning beginning at 9 AM prior to the service.
