Gloria Oliveira, 77, of New Bedford died June 16, 2010 at home.
She was the wife of the late Manuel Oliveira.
Born in Acushnet, the daughter of the late Manuel and Cusdio (Ponte) Souza, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Mrs. Oliveira enjoyed Foxwoods and TV, Poker machines and family and friends.
She was employed with several local fish houses for many years until her retirement.
Survivors include a daughter, Danielle Rae of Fairhaven; 2 sons, Michael Oliveira and his wife Denise and Russell Oliveira, all of New Bedford; a brother, Arthur Ponte of New Bedford; a grandson, 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Manuel Souza, Walter Souza, Laura Moniz, Alice Martin, Francisco Ponte, and Irene Lima.
Her Funeral Services will be private.
