Grant V. Faber, 94, of Mattapoisett died October 30, 2010 at Sippican Healthcare Center.
He was the husband of Priscilla M. (Hathaway) Faber.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Eugene and Ruth (Peirce) Faber, he lived in Fairhaven & Mattapoisett most of his life.
Mr. Faber was formerly employed as a boat builder for D.N. Kelly & Sons Boat Yard in Fairhaven for many years, and then as a carpenter for Fisher & Rocha, Inc.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; his children, Mark G. Faber and his girlfriend Samantha Conner of Mattapoisett, Deborah Singleton and her husband Richard of Freetown and Peter Whiting and his wife Jan of Washington.
Visiting hours Tuesday, November 2nd from 4- 7 PM followed by his Funeral Service at 7 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Sippican Healthcare Center, 15 Mill St. Marion, MA 02738.
