Harlyn Henry Froh II, 29, of Acushnet died Monday December 27, 2010 at home after a brief illness.

Born in New Bedford, the son of Mark E. and Karol A. (Dawson) Froh, he lived in Acushnet for most of his life.

Harlyn was formerly employed as an emergency medical technician for the Town of Acushnet and Response Ambulance Company.

He was a graduate of New Bedford High School, where he was a member of the track team and debate team. He had played youth baseball and basketball in Acushnet and youth football in New Bedford.

Survivors include his parents; two brothers, David C. Froh of Acushnet and Christopher T. Froh of Marion; and his grandparents, Lucille Froh of Fairhaven and Carlton Dawson and his wife Cecile of Acushnet.

He was the grandson of the late Marie A. Dawson and Harlyn H. Froh.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9 AM at St. Francis Xavier Church, Acushnet. Private burial will be in Acushnet Cemetery.
