Helen A. Aubut

Helen A. (Racine) Aubut, 99, of New Bedford died peacefully on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
She was the wife of the late Wilfred J. Aubut.

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late J. Arthur and Irene (Desorcy) Racine, she lived in New Bedford all of her life while wintering in North Fort Myers, Florida.

She was formerly employed at Goodyear Tire Company for over 25 years until her retirement.

Mrs. Aubut was a member of the Goodyear Seniors and St. Joseph-St.Terese Seniors.

She enjoyed dancing at the Freetown V.F.W.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Wilfred Aubut and his wife Rosemary of Alva, FL and Richard Aubut and his wife Joann of South Dartmouth; 2 daughters, Gloria Craven and her husband Michael of North Fort Myers, FL, and Helene Jasmine and her husband Mark of Franklin; 2 brothers, Rene Racine of Acushnet and Deacon Leo Racine of New Bedford; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Paul Racine, Fernand Racine, Lionel Racine, Marcelle Kirouac, Blanche Pedro, Marie Lorraine Racine, Robert Racine, and Pauline Wade.

Her visiting hours will be held Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 3-7 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday June 15 at 10 AM in St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd, East Freetown, MA 02717 followed by her burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
