Helen E. (Smith) Proctor, 87, of New Bedford died January 22, 2017 peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Evelyn G. (Jenkins) Smith, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
She was formerly employed as a licensed practical nurse at St. Luke's Hospital for many years until her retirement.
Mrs. Proctor enjoyed TV game shows, Bingo, board games and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her son, Robert E. Moore of Montgomery Village, MD; 3 grandchildren, Robert A. Wood, Damien C. Moore and Anthony J. Moore; 3 great-grandchildren, Jaraud R.A. Wood, Alycia J. Wood and Darius E. Moore.
