Helen E. (Kellick) Washington, 41, of New Bedford died Friday November 30, 2007 after a long illness.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Eva (Haskell) Kellick and the late Frank Kellick, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

Helen was formerly employed as a certified nursing assistant at various area nursing homes.

Survivors include her mother; two daughters, Jamie Murphy and Alyssa Kellick; her siblings, Ruth Henson, Philip, William, and Matthew Canedy; and her close friend, Doreen Mendes and family.


She was the sister of the late Dennis Canedy.
