Hilda (Ferreira) Almeida, 91, of Cape Coral, FL died August 28, 2017 peacefully at Cape Coral Rehabilitation Center.
She was the wife of the late Carlos Almeida.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Manuel and Adeline (Rogers) Ferreira, she lived in New Bedford before retiring to Cape Coral, FL in 1988.
She assisted her late husband and her sons in the family business, Liberty Laundry, for many years until retirement.
Survivors include her 3 sons, Bob Almeida, Mark Almeida and Carl Almeida and his wife Jackie, all of Cape Coral, FL; 6 grandchildren, Neil, Wayne, Ashley, Dylan, Jennifer and Shannon Almeida; 4 great-grandchildren, Lauren, Eric, Hailey and Spencer; 3 nieces and a nephew.
She was the sister of the late Mable Ferreira.
Her Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 5th at 1 PM in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
