Hilda A. (Andrews) Brito, 91, of Mattapoisett died Saturday December 18, 2010 at Sippican Healthcare Center.
She was the wife of the late Miguel L. Brito.
Born in Wareham, the daughter of the late Peter and Lena (deGrace) Andrews, she lived in Mattapoisett most of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church.
Mrs. Brito was formerly a hairdresser in a home hair salon, Hilda's Styling Studio. She was happiest in that home at 42 Park St. where she could cook for her family.
Survivors include a son, Miguel J. Brito of South Orange, NJ; a daughter, Audrey Andrews of Mattapoisett; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was the sister of the late Minnie Fermino, Annie Costa, Joseph Santos, Julia Greene and Mary Delgado.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett Wednesday, December 22nd at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday, December 21st from 4-8 PM.
