Ilidia (Brito) Andrade, 92, of New Bedford died December 5, 2002 at Brandon Woods after a brief illness.

She was the wife of the late Jose Andrade, and daughter of the late Joao and Maria (Silva) Brito.

Mrs. Andrade was born in Brava, Cape Verde and had lived in Brava for most of her life before moving to New Bedford in 1977.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.

She was a very devoted grandmother.

Survivors include a daughter, Maria J. Silva of New Bedford; 5 grandchildren, Joe Silva of Lincoln, RI, Lidia Stepp of San Antonio, TX, Laurinda Coleman of Middletown, NJ, Ben Silva and Linda Silva, both of New Bedford; 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New BedfordMonday, december 9th at 8 AM.Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 9 AM.Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Visiting hours Sunday, December 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
