Irene E. (Spooner) Harrison, 90, of Dartmouth died Wednesday February 17, 2010 at home. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Harrison, Jr.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Clifton W. and Lillian E. (Mendell) Spooner, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life, before moving to Dartmouth.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Magrath of Dartmouth and Joyce Hodge of Fall River; her siblings, Roland and Evelyn Spooner, both of Florida; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Her Funeral will be held on Monday at 11 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 5-8 PM. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
