Jackie Carmo, 76, of New Bedford, died peacefully on Thursday, January 11, 2024.

Born in New York City, son of the late Raymond Morales and Angelina Carmo, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.

Jackie enjoyed martial arts and collecting comic books. Jackie loved animals and going on walks. He liked going to the movies and watching superhero movies.

Jackie served proudly in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his daughters, Erin Lopez and Monica Dias; his grandchildren, Pedro, Kenneth, Kendrick, Kyan, Janecea, and Nathanael, Jr.; and many cousins.

He is predeceased by his grandson Julien.

A private burial with military honors will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
