Jacqueline F. (Moniz) Cosme, 59, of New Bedford died August 21, 2005 at New England Medical Center after a long illness.
She was the wife of Albert P.P. Cosme, Sr.
Born and raised in Fall River, the daughter of the late Frank Moniz and Eleanor Mattos, she moved to New Bedford 19 years ago.
She was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
Mrs. Cosme was formerly employed by New England Residential for 20 years until retiring as residential head director.
She will always be loved and missed. Mrs. Cosme was the world's greatest wife, mother and nana.
Survivors include her husband; 2 sons, Albert P.P. Cosme, Jr., and his wife Jennifer, of New Bedford and Jamie F. Cosme, and his girlfriend Roxanne, of Fall River; 4 daughters, Tammy Lee Cosme Delgado, and her husband Frank, Lisa Marie Cosme DaSilva, and her husband Joe, and Patricia Cosme, all of New Bedford, Jacqueline Christina Cosme, and her fiancée David F. Bailey, of Florida; 2 granddaughters and 7 grandsons.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Wednesday, August 24th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday, August 23rd from 4-8 PM.
