James L. DePrato, 58 of Fairhaven died June 29, 2011 at Our Lady's Haven after a brief battle with cancer.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Marjorie M. (Mutch) DePrato of New Bedford and the late Louis D. DePrato, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
Survivors include his mother; a sister, Kathleen Nightlinger and her husband Larry; a brother, Michael DePrato and his wife Nancy; his niece, Tina Beijar and her husband Christopher and their children Lucy and Eli; his nephew, Kenneth Resendes and his children Chrissie and Justin.
He was the uncle of the late Christy Resendes.
His Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday July 9th at 9:30 AM in Our Lady's Haven chapel, 71 Center St. Fairhaven.
