Janice C. (Geggatt) Campos, 87, of Rochester died September 18, 2026 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Manuel F. Campos, Jr.

Born in Acushnet, daughter of the late Roy M. and Dorothy L. (Laycock) Geggatt, she was raised in Marion and New Bedford and lived in Rochester most of her life.

She was formerly employed as a medical assistant at Tobey Hospital for 25 years until her retirement.

Mrs. Campos enjoyed working in her yard, the ocean and living life to the fullest.

She was a member of the Bristol County Corvette Club.

Survivors include her son, Todd Campos of Rochester; a daughter, Deanne Putman and her husband Robert of Hoschton, GA; 2 grandchildren, Tyler Putman and Lauren Mowery and her husband Cory; 2 great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Hadley; 2 brothers, Thomas Geggatt of Houston, TX and Jonathan Geggatt of Bridgewater; a cousin, Theodore Laycock of Marion; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Her Funeral Service with burial in Center Cemetery in Rochester will be private.
