Jeanne Marie (Limacher) Paquin, 100, of New Bedford passed into the Lord's hands July 29, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital after a short illness.

She was the wife of the late Raymond W. Paquin and was a lifelong resident of New Bedford, and a parishioner at St Julie Billiart Parish in North Dartmouth.

Jeanne was born in New Bedford on December 13, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Marie (Piot) Limacher.

She was a graduate of New Bedford High School, class of 1942. Upon graduating from high school, she attended Kinyon-Campbell Business School and was subsequently employed at Beneficial Finance in downtown New Bedford as a Client Specialist for forty-five years.

Jeanne possessed many talents and hobbies including gardening, playing piano, cooking (her homemade strawberry-rhubarb pie was superb), playing cards with family, completing the daily crossword, and later was a force in the daily family Wordle competition. She was a kind, gentle and loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her four children: Maurice Paquin (Sharon) of Suamico, WI, Roland Paquin (Linda) of Tempe, AZ, Suzanne Nimocks (Robert) of Houston, TX and Jacqueline Curran (Jack) of W. Dennis, MA. She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Caitlin Guzowski, Colleen Arthur, Mitchell Nimocks and Camille Weiderhorn, as well as five great-grandchildren.

There will be no hours of visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Monday, August 4th at 10 AM at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 494 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, MA.
