Jeannette Y. (Douglass) Perry, 65, of Dartmouth died June 10, 2009 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late John Perry, Jr.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Charles and Jeannette (Faucher) Douglass, she lived in New Bedford before moving to Dartmouth in 1977.
Mrs. Perry was formerly employed by Grinnell Pajamas and McDonald's on Hathaway Rd. before operating a private daycare at her home.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include 2 sons, Mark J. Perry of Utah and Michael D. Perry of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren, Haley and Lauren; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was the sister of the late Mary Charbonneau, Violette Stanoff and Paul Douglass.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday from 4-8 PM. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
