John F. Duke, 100, of Lubbock, TX died May 3, 2012.
He was the husband of the late Katherine Duke.
John was a former big band leader, author, avid golfer and businessman.
Survivors include his sister, Marie Andrade; 2 nephews, Raymond Andrade and Peter Norton and his wife Ladonne, great-nieces, Christy Andrade and Rachella Norton-Stamps; and a great-nephew, Robert Reader.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford Wednesday, May 16th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, Dartmouth at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday, May 15th from 3-5 PM.
