John Perry, 77, of New Bedford passed away Friday January 29, 2021 at Sacred Heart Home after a long illness. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Falcon) Perry.

Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Manuel and Mary (Czaban) Perry, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.

John had been employed as a maintenance worker at the Bristol County Superior Court in New Bedford until his retirement. He had also previously worked at Morse Cutting Tools.

An avid sports fan, he enjoyed playing cards with his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two sons, David J. Perry and his companion Carol, and Jeffrey S. Perry and his wife Dené; his granddaughter, Olivia; two sisters, Joyce DeMotta and her husband Gus, and Maryjane Perry; his sister-in-law, Nancy Riley and her husband Dan; his niece, Rhonda; and his nephew, Tim.

He was the brother of the late Richard Perry.
