Joseph L. Drayton, 84, of New Bedford passed away Friday, November 8, 2024.

Born in New Bedford, son of the late Lawrence F. and Mary (Pires) Drayton, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.

Joe liked going to the casino, traveling, riding his bike and watching soap operas. He enjoyed teasing and spending time with his grandchildren. Joe worked as a foreman for ComGas, now Eversource, for 27 years.

Joe served proudly in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his daughters, Lynn Drayton and her partner Yvette St. Amand of New Bedford and Lisa Drayton of East Boston; his brothers, Lawrence Drayton and Charles Drayton; his sisters, Debra Cardoza and Lori Lyn Dyson; and his grandchildren, Christopher Drayton, Hailey Gomes, and Jaelyn Gomes.

According to his wishes no services will be held.
