Joseph A. Pasteris, Jr., 64, of Spring Hill, FL died September 19, 2010 unexpectedly.
He was the husband of Barbara A. (Barry) Pasteris.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Joseph A. and Lucy E. (Deree) Pasteris, he lived in New Bedford most of his life before moving to Florida 10 years ago.
Mr. Pasteris served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife; 2 sons, Joseph A. Pasteris, III and his wife Donna of East Freetown and Aaron J. Pasteris and his wife Nelia of Somerset; a daughter, Cynthia M. Pasteris-Contois of Fall River; a brother, Daniel Pasteris and his wife Gloria of New Bedford; 2 sisters, Christine Robinson and her husband Harry and Patricia Pasteris, all of New Bedford; 6 grandchildren, Mikayla Pasteris, Jillian Contois, Joseph Pasteris, Alexander Pasteris, Sydney Medeiros-Pasteris and Cameron Medeiros-Pasteris.

His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 27th at 9:30 AM in Grace Gospel Church, 271 Sharps Lot Rd., Swansea. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday, September 26th from 6-8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
