Joseph P. Ventura's Obituary
Joseph P. Ventura, 64, of New Bedford died Friday May 27, 2011 at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Joseph R. and Mary (Camacho) Ventura, he lived in Florida for 30 years before returning to New Bedford.
Mr. Ventura was formerly employed as a bus driver for the City of St. Petersburg, Florida.
He is survived by his siblings, Carl Ventura, John Ventura and his wife Celeste, Ronald Ventura, and Jean Fernandes.
He was the brother of the late Paul Ventura.
His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 10-11 AM prior to the service. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
