Joshua Michael Rock, 25, of New Bedford died Wednesday September 3, 2014 suddenly at St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in New Bedford, the son of Cheryl A. (Margerum) Rock and Michael J. Rock, he lived in Freetown and New Bedford for most of his life.

Joshua was employed as a landscaper.

He enjoyed playing baseball, BMX riding, camping, and spending time with his sister and nieces.

Survivors include his parents; his sister, Erika Rock; his nieces, Kiera Rock and Aniya Joyner; his fiancée, Jessica; his grandmother, Mary L. Rock; and his grandfather, Rene A. Rock.

His visiting hours will be held on Sunday September 14, 2014 from 4-7 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. A graveside service will be held on Monday September 15, 2014 at 11:30 AM at Acushnet Cemetery.
