Julie A. (Fortes) Ramos, 76, of Cranston, RI formerly of New Bedford died May 25, 2023 at her daughter's home.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Julio J. and Hilda (Gibau) Fortes, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was formerly employed by Titleist for many years until her retirement. She later enjoyed being a Foster Grandparent at Grace Episcopal Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Shelly Ramos-Paine and her husband Geoffrey of Cranston, RI; 4 sisters, Isabel Fortes and Elizabeth Fortes, both of New Bedford, Alice Miranda of Pawtucket and Sherry Macedo of New Bedford; many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Allen Fortes, Marie Fortes and Sandra (Fortes) Blanton.
