Juliette A. (Croteau) Higham, 103, of New Bedford died March 18, 2019 at Hathaway Manor.
She was the wife of the late William H. Higham and Edward Luby.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Calixte M. and Mabel (Chausse) Croteau, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Mrs. Higham was formerly employed for many years at the New Bedford Gas Company and the Boy's and Girl's Club of New Bedford until her retirement.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hathaway Manor for the attentive care they gave to Mrs. Higham during her residency.
Survivors include her stepson, Kevin Higham and his wife Kathleen; a step-granddaughter, Allison; a step-grandson, Patrick; a nephew, Barry Higham and his wife Patricia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Pauline A. Boisvert and the sister-in-law of the late John "Jack" Higham.
Her Funeral will be held on Friday, March 22nd at 8 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, March 21st from 5-7 PM.
