Julio C. Baldo, 83 of New Bedford died April 25, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.
He was the husband of Mary A. (Kuffrey) Baldo with whom he celebrated his 56th wedding anniversary this past Sunday.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Americo and Julia (Barrajo) Baldo, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
He was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church.
Mr. Baldo was the proprietor of Baldo's Superette for many years.
He was an artist.
Survivors include his wife; a brother, Antonio Baldo of Vacaville, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
His Private Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, April 29th in St. Julie Billiart Church. Burial followed in St. John's Cemetery.
